Characteristics of Diagnosis and Treatment

Our department has a Color Doppler Ultrasound, STORX Endoscope equipment, German SchoellyFiberopticDuctoscopy, EnCorEnspire® Vacuum-Assisted Breast Biopsy Systems, Bard® Disposable Core Biopsy Instrument and various intensive care equipment, etc. In addition, the Department is in the process of acquiring a three-dimensional breast biopsy system. Currently, the various breast surgery procedures can all be completed in our department, including: 1. Diagnosis and treatment of nipple discharge by Breast Fiberoptic Duct Endoscopy; 2. Ultrasound-guided vacuum-assisted breast biopsy system for minimally invasive surgery; 3. Diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of breast cancer including surgical treatment, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, biological therapy; 4. Diagnosis and treatment of benign breast disease: new comprehensive treatment system of benign breast disease can be applied to targeted breast catheter infusion therapy, especially for patients with breast pain, breast lumps, or nipple discharge. For early-staged mastitis patients, this treatment system can promptly clear clogged breast ducts to make milk secretion smooth as well as avoid inflammation progression; 5. Biopsy of clinically-impalpable breast lesions under X-ray or Ultrasound

Minimally-invasive technology is one of the characteristics of breast surgery and we have acquired the EnCorEnspire® Vacuum-Assisted Breast Biopsy System, a leading technology from the United States. It has been applied in many fields such as <3 cm diameter single or multiple breast lumps and impalpable breast lesions which can only be detected by ultrasound imaging. This type of surgery has numerous advantages such as less trauma and pain, rapid postoperative recovery, small and unobtrusive surgical incisions which prevent or reduce the formation of scars and alleviates the concerns of patients for their appearance. On this basis, we closely follow domestic and international advanced medical technology and aim to improve breast cancer treatment. In addition, wecontinually introduce advanced technologies and mastoscopic equipment to perform new endoscopic therapy for breast cancer. For breast cancer patients, primary and secondary breast reconstruction procedures can be used to restore the symmetry and appearance of breasts by undergoing immediate or delayed breast reconstruction with expandable implants after breast cancer surgery. Furthermore, for patients with breast-conserving surgery, we can help to restore breast volume and shape to improve the postoperative quality of life. Additionally, for patients with congenital nipple retraction, minimally-invasive surgery will neither damage tissue nor affect lactation.
