The Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics is a comprehensive department combined with medical treatment, education, and research. We have 7 wards, including the general gynecological and obstetric wards, a special ward, a Labor-Delivery-Recovery ward, as well as delivery and operation rooms，which contain 202 beds. We have a group of talented and experienced physicians with noble medical ethics. There are 161 medical workers in our department, including 44 doctors and 117 nurses. 19 doctors with senior professional titles, 5 with doctor`s degree, and 4 professors who are all graduate student instructors are involved in this group. Every year, we have more than 190,000 outpatients, 10,000 inpatients, and about 8000 cases of gynecological operation. Since 2012, the department not only has been rated as the municipal Standardization Major of Obstetrical Critical Illness, also it has received and cured a lot of pregnant women who were suffered from severe diseases. As a state-level standardized training ground of gynecology and obstetrics, we have received many medical undergraduate students. So far there are 27 students acquired their training certificate. Besides treatment and education, we also emphasis on clinical and basic research. In recent years, there are 6 people in charge of provincial and municipal-level subjects, and more than 20 papers have been published, including 2 papers accepted by SCI.
